If you're not happy with who you are, move your ass
A gentle push toward the life that’s waiting for you
I was watching And Just Like That, Sex and the City’s sequel, the other night. I’ve been struggling this week to find the headspace to write, so I did what I always do: I let my mind wander and played the series in the background.
Then, during a comedy show scene, the comedian shouted to the crowd:
Bodies at rest remain at rest, bodies in motion remain in motion
And then I thought: Holy shit. THIS IS SO TRUE.

Listen, I’m not here to tell you what you should or shouldn’t do. There’s no right or wrong regarding the paths we choose to walk.
But something I’m strong on is keeping the soul shining. And how do you do that?
Learn how to say NO
Focus on your dreams
Build a village
Be open to transformation
Do something out of your comfort zone occasionally
Create. Always.
Learn to say no
When you say no to what’s not aligned, you’re saying yes to:
Your dreams
New people who want to walk beside you
Feeling fulfilled in your own life
Keep focusing on your dreams
Girl, you gotta keep dreaming!!!!
Unhappy in your job? Change it.
Uneasy in your relationship? Seek balance.
Disconnected from yourself?
Change your routine.
Sleep more.
Move your body.
Eat with intention.
Small changes can change your life.
But no matter how long it takes, keep walking toward your dream.

Build your village
When you start evolving—shifting, shedding, and transforming—it can get dark. Change is hard—very hard.
That’s why you need your people.
A village to hold you through the messy middle.
You might lose people along the way. And that’s okay.
Not everyone is meant to stay. Thank them with grace. Let them go.
Your new tribe is waiting.
Be open to transformation
You can’t transform if you’re clinging to the past.
Welcome and embrace everything that comes with it
And think about it this way:
You’re becoming the best version of yourself
Be proud.
Do something that scares you
I lived in the Netherlands for six years.
After four and a half years, things started falling apart, my friends started moving, my amazing roommates left, and the home we’d built dissolved. I got a remote job. My mind, body, and even the country were all shouting:
IT’S YOUR TIME TO LEAVE. DO IT!
Scared? Good.
Fear is the best sign. It means you’re about to grow.
Book that solo trip.
Start a new hobby.
Go on a blind date.
Text the person you miss.
CHANGE
Create. Always.
Keeping your creative spark on throughout your life is one of the biggest acts of self-love you can do for yourself.
Creating activates the depth of the soul
It shows us ways we can’t usually see
opens doors to new thought
keeps us connected with our inner wild woman.
We—women—are creators by nature. We are the source of life. We are power.
And we deserve to feel alive.
And to feel alive, we gotta keep moving. Moving to stillness, moving to chaos, moving to art, moving to new people, moving to womanhood.
So, move.
PS, If you haven’t watched Sex and the City, do your female energy a favor and watch it. You won’t regret it.
Stay wild,
Isabella
